Christopher Peter Meloni, an American actor best known for his part in the popular television series 'Law and Order Special Victims Unit. While in college, he started to pursue a passion for acting. At the University of Colorado at Boulder where he was studying acting. He's appeared in TV and films, however it was his small-screen characters that brought him fame and an extensive fan base. His ability to portray characters on both sides of law has captured the attention of audiences. He was the voice of a serial killer in his first television series project before moving on to play the role that of an NYPD detective. His small-screen performances are rewarded with multiple Emmy Awards nominations and PRISM Awards. His most attractive facial feature can be attributed to the blue eyes that pierce his face. They have been considered to be his distinctive feature and are credited with creating characters that are savage and charismatic. His name was included in the People's magazine's list of Sexiest Men Alive in 2006.
